Donations received from friends of the Ladah Foundation have enabled us to help the following organizations in the Holy Land:

Bethlehem University (www.bethlehem.edu) is the only Catholic University in the Holy Land, founded in 1973 and administered by the De la Salle Christian Brothers. The University has five faculties: Arts, Business Administration, Education, Nursing, and Sciences. The University also has the Institute of Hotel Management and Tourism. The Ladah Foundation established an annual scholarship starting with the 2001/2002.  This number increased to three scholarships in 2002/2003 and five scholarships in 2003/2004.

Birzeit University (www.birzeit.edu) is the first institution of higher education to be established in Palestine, offering numerous undergraduate and post-graduate degrees through its five faculties: Arts, Commerce and Economics, Engineering, Sciences, and Graduate Studies. The Ladah Foundation established an annual scholarship starting with the 2001/2002 academic year and was increased to three scholarships by 2003/2004.

The Four Homes of Mercy is a Palestinian NGO that has provided aid and comfort to underprivileged and handicapped individuals in the Jerusalem and Bethlehem areas for over 61 years. Services provided by The Four Homes of Mercy are open to people of all faiths and include aid to outpatients and approximately one hundred resident patients. The patients consist of old age men and women, less privileged children and young adults, many of them physically handicapped and some suffering multiple handicaps. Medical aid to expectant mothers is also provided in The Four Homes of Mercy's maternity hospital.

With generous donations from friends of the Ladah Foundation, we hope to continue and perhaps increase our assistance to these and other educational and humanitarian organizations in the Holy Land.

All current activities of the Ladah Foundation are conducted by volunteers.  All out-of-pocket costs incurred by the Foundation are borne by volunteers.  Since the Foundation has no administrative overhead, all amounts contributed are allocated 100% to the Foundation's charitable objectives.

The Ladah Foundation is a non-profit, tax exempt organization in the USA.  The Foundation complies strictly with all guidelines issued by the US Department of Treasury, Office of Foreign Assets Control, as these guidelines pertain to the transfer of funds to Palestinian individuals and/or entities.
