The Internal Revenue Service (the IRS) has determined that The
Ladah Foundation meets all the criteria of a "charitable organization"
exempt from tax under section 501(a) of the Internal Revenue Code as an organization
described in section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code. As a result, The Ladah
Foundation is
exempt
from US taxes under section 501(a) of the Code. This allows The Foundation to raise
and distribute funds for charitable purposes without paying money to the US government in
taxes. It also means that you, as a donor, may deduct your contributions to The Foundation
on your federal income tax return, as provided in section 170 of the Code.
The Ladah Foundation and its projects are run exclusively by
volunteers in the USA and in the Holy Land, and have no administrative overhead. 100% of
every donation will be used to help the individual and institutional recipients of the
funds.
The Ladah Foundation will acknowledge all donations with formal
written receipts that can be used for income tax deduction purposes.
Additional information about The Ladah Foundation's legal
and/or tax status will be provided upon request. |
